Does anyone know if or when bungie is going to add Team Hardcore? Or when Purple reign (Midship) is being put in? Because thats going to be the only thing i play!

Have they been announced?

It took Bungie quite awhile to put Hardcore into Halo 2, it will probably take about as long this time too.
As for Purple Reign, theres no promises that it's Midship, although it does seem likely. They say the maps are getting closed to finished, so I'd hope for about a month.
They should be trying to get those out as fast as possible, seeing as they did promise DLC within 30 days of launch.

do you want hardcore because you can only use a BR and you suck with any other gun. thats my guess

Because the true way to enjoy games is to play the same gametype, on the same 3 maps, with the same weapon start, over, and over, and over, and over.

well if you want to get any better you play the same gametypes and rules that the pros play.

well there is no 'true' way to play a game. Its however you want to play it basically, and competitively is the funnest way to do basically anything that has a competitive aspect to it.

Right, if you want to play something that has a competitive aspect, you should play it competitively.

I'll agree with you, MLG has the best rules for competition, and the best environment for trying to be a professional gamer. But there is so much more to video games than that. So many people have holed themselves into only playing MLG, its the best thing, etc. Halo 3 has been out for 6 weeks now, and theres already people who refuse to play anything but customs.

I remember playing with some kids about a year ago in Halo 2, and after a couple ffa's asked if anyone wanted to just play some Zombies. For most of them, it was their first game of it in 2 years. They were going on about how good it feels to not take this game seriously for once, and how surprised they were that it was this fun.

Just stop, take a moment, explore what else there is to do with this game. And if thats really not your thing, and you only want to play MLG customs, don't insult anyone else. Its your own fault you can't play video games for fun anymore.
