basically, no scoping, just look to the right of them and (i play on 7 sens) swing it to the left and fire, and then swing it back and fire again, thats what i do and im excellent at no scoping.
as for sweep sniping, i lok to the left and go as fast as i can to the right and as soon as i see the cursor go red i pull tha trigger and they are on the ground a second later.....
Strafe sniping doesnt really matter, if you can strafe and snipe try to strafe one way and snipe the other...(ie. walk right and swing the sniper left)
and if they have the first shot, NEVER EVER go back out straight away, make them think your moving around then go out about 10 seconds later and blow their head off while their looking for where ur about to come out of....
snipez lvl...33

sniping lv means nothing man infact all lvs in halo mean nothing Someone can get A lv 50 without getting a kill as long as you have a good team so your lv is not of skill but how well you work with your team. but pratice at what your good at. get better at it and thats how you get better at sniping

sniping levels do mean nothing. i could have a 5 and totally own a level 50, just an example. like u just gotta practice and get good at knowing the maps so when u are moving side to side you dont snipe the walls or obstacles :evillaugh:

I acctually do pretty good strafe sniping. One sad thing though when i snipe is i am a better no scoper than i am scoping. like say im at BR 3 on lockout i can no scope them from the suicide room, lft, snipe 3 and hit them continuisouly like i actually do it out of skill not luck, One thing that helps me use the snipe is to ALWAYS keep moving with it, like dont go from snipe t to BR T without help like just camp take shots have team back u up and u should be fine.

Well ill see if these tips wont help.
1. learn to read the gamers minds, in a since, expect what that person is gonna do. You see the guy enter library on lockout, you then know 3 possible windows for you to snipe him at. Back br, Sword, or BR2.
2. Know your own surroundings and make sure that the enemy cant expect your own moves. Simple strat is to keep yourself from traveling the same way over and over again. They will expect that from you.
3. If you not host and not very experienced, then dont try to attempt long range shots. It will never work and you will become very frustrated.
I guess that can help for right now. Ide offer other stuff on controller sensitivity but it doenst help considering that i play between 8 and 10. Say thanks guys, and Stay Frosty.

Hey it takes lots to be a good sniper. I don't know what these kids are talking about.
QUOTE:
theres nothing to sniping.
what a lie, there not gonna get anywhere. first off, always stay on a wall. you don't want to get assasinated all the time. second, keep your scope at head level and when a guy comes by shootem, of course that takes practice but it works on levels like beaver creek. third, find where the battle is , stay right outside of it and just pickem off. use that and youll be better.

dont poke out if they see you first. If they're trained in on your position, run away and go somewhere else. Precision is everything, but the best thing for snipes is "precise flicks". You just put it on their head in one motion with NO HESITATION. lol never hesitate on trying to line it up, just jam it on him and watch him pop.

-34 lol?

my tips on sniping
keep your sniper inactive when walking around, for suprise no scopes and stuff. when you see someone walking around, ONLY scope in once, it gives u a moderatly clear shot on the target while still being aware of your surrounding, and for magnified scoping, only if you are picking off someone near a teammate or see a group of enemies. helps with getting multiple opponents.
as for no scoping, i keep my sensetivity on 2. that's just my style, i never get out Battle Rifled. keeps my BR steady. it also helps set up for no scopes. when you see some one swaying or approaching, don't follow his head. (only makes it harder.) make your crosshairs and his head meet in the middle.
