I actually didn't know the trick with the rockets, but found that it would not be useful most of the time. It seems that it would probably just be easier to just go grab them then try to knock them down.

If you spawn blue, it works better to have one guy go up on the plasma rifle side (opposite from sniper) and one guy go through the portal and turn right to come out on the rocket side. Then have both people shoot at the rocket guy, he has nowhere to hide. Alternatively, just get the sniper and shoot him.<br /><br />As for close up BR fights, less experienced people will almost always run at you to try to BxR you. Just keep shooting them and backing away. You can usually get 2 or more shots on them before they realize they won't get the BxR, and it becomes an easy, shield-conserving fight. You shouldn't go for the BxR unless you're both running at each other or you just run into somebody around a corner. Also, when BxR'ing, if you miss the headshot, it's a good idea to crouch and beat them down again. If you hit the the first beatdown and the shots hit him anywhere on his body, the second beatdown should kill him.

if you want to grab rockets faster i just run for over sheild when they run for rockets and then give them a quick quadshot and bang you got rocks and OS ahahah i pwn nnooobbbss.<br /><br />
