So Halo 3 just launched what are your reactions?

Haven't beaten campaign yet, but I like it so far. Still a bit tedious at some parts, but there is finally a bit more of a story.

MP is pretty much like I expected, very similar to the beta. Its not enough of a change between Halo 2 for me, so I can't see myself playing it like I did Halo 2. Fortunately, co-op and forge will more than make up for the lack of change in generic matchmaking.

Care to elaborate on your hatred of MP?
I think the sniper is fine, from what I've seen, and weapons don't seem imbalanced at all (except the smg's are still useless).

Yeah I thought that the weapons were really balenced. And the SMG is still usless but it is more powerful.

I like all of it, i'm not much of a campaign person. Everything to me seems really balanced. The SMG's never sucked and now they have tons of ammo, just make sure you're dual wielding. The sniper isn't broke at all because it's hard as hell to shoot because of the lack of auto aim.

I'm about half way through the campaign and so far its a blast. I actually like the sniper better mainly because I sucked in Halo 2. I think it also has more recoil.

Glad the game is finally out, I beat the Halo 2 campaign the day of its release, so I have been waiting a loooong time to finally see the result of that lovely cliffhanger.

I like Halo 3. It kept me occupied when it released, then i fell in love with it. I made a team and now we're going for MLG.

The Beatdown system in Halo 3 is seriously BS.
