Well the game is have to say is very awsemo. Yeah sure, the campaign isint what its cracked up to be but thats not the reason i bought it. I got it becuase of the online play, which i might add, is one of the best kinds of online play out there for the 360. I'll give a quick info-cram of online play.
1. The main focus of online play is a little fight known as the Neroimus war. What it is, is a real time war between 3 nations to see who can gain absolute controll over the land. The war goes into extreme detail that forces the player to become greatly involved in the fight.
2. First of all, to participate in the war, you must either create a squad or join one. Then you start raising money for new parts by fighting and winning. You get ranks and everything, and your squad even gets points to go up in rank.
2. The next great aspect is the full customization of your mech. Sure the campaign kinda gives you some pieces to use, but theres way alot more parts available online, and then DL parts from XBL market. You paint your mech, and put your squad symbol on it, and everything. The detail goes in so deep that you have to worry about things like the weight of your mech, armor placement, power supply, even radiators (heat sinks).
3. The other great aspect is the fights themselves. They can be won several ways. Kill all enemy hounds, destroy the enemy base, or have the most COMBASS by the end of the game, (dont ask about that one). You dont always have to play against real people either. Instead you can fight, in the war, against AI that match your rank or the highest rank in your squad.
To finish off, the game had given me many hours of gameplay, and im still playing it every now and then. (so far 160 hours of online play only!) Now one thing thats cool though is the secret weapons for each country online but i dont have time to explain it. So if any of yall ever want to play online with my squad
(you have to join it) then hit me up with a pm. Our squad BTW, is ranked proffesional so you know that we arent teh sek. Well thanks dude, and Stay Frosty!
